Welcome to SunSmiles! We offer childcare for families looking to provide their child with a loving and compassionate environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that prepare them for a successful and happy future. We offer an environment that advances curiosity and inquisitiveness through Developmental Play-based activities. Our Developmental Focus
Physical: Fine and gross motor skills, overall health, crawling, walking, running, jumping, using utensils.
Cognitive: Thinking, problem-solving, memory. Activities like counting, sorting, puzzles, and storytelling.
Social-Emotional: Interacting with others, managing emotions, building relationships, sharing, cooperating, and expressing feelings.
Language: Effective communication through speech and writing. Activities that practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Creative: Expression through art, music, and play. Activities include drawing, painting, singing, and imaginative play.
